25 YEARS MASTERING THE ART OF BESPOKE CURTAIN CREATION.
In 1998, our founder Andrea Rees spotted a gap in the market for bespoke curtain consultation and creation. Today, from our studio in West London, Cutter & Barr work with leading interior designers and property developers to design and deliver beautifully made curtains and blinds to suit any project and budget.
OUR STORY
Andrea honed her skills in the London residential sector, mastering the art of creating made-to-measure curtains and blinds that successfully elevated living spaces. Armed with this wealth of experience and knowledge, she moved to the Costa del Sol where she pioneered the dressing of windows for discerning expats working alongside renowned property developers and interior designers. After a decade in Spain, Andrea returned to the UK fuelled with a vision to establish a new company. In 2013, Cutter & Barr was born with the aim to deliver high quality British-made curtain and blind solutions for both residential and commercial projects.
OUR PRODUCTION PROCESS
We use a number of highly skilled artisanal curtain and blind makers and have created an agile design-to-delivery service that can be tailored to each client’s requirements. Commissioning only UK-based makers means we can reduce our carbon footprint rather than sending orders to be produced overseas. We primarily work with interior designers, home staging specialists, estate agencies and property developers.
