Before purchasing, please familiarise yourself with our terms. By buying our products, you agree to the stated conditions.
Bespoke Service
- Quotation: All quotes might require a preliminary site visit for size confirmation. Prices are subject to change if initial measurements are inaccurate. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Manufacture: Post deposit payment, product delivery is estimated within six weeks, subject to fabric availability.
- Fitting: Fitting costs depend on the order and assume clear access to windows. If fitting is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled visit, full charges may apply. If extra equipment is needed, customers will be informed in advance.
Online Orders
- Once payment is received, orders are placed based on product availability.
- Alterations or cancellations are not allowed post-payment.
- Our products are custom-made, hence no returns or exchanges are accepted
unless there’s a fault or discrepancy from the described product.
Payment Terms
- Upon confirming your order, Cutter & Barr will issue an invoice for a 50% deposit of the total job cost.
- The order processing begins once the deposit is received.
- A week before the confirmed fitting date, another invoice will be issued for the remaining balance.
- This balance must be settled 24 hours before the installation.
- If payment is not received, and the installation date has to be rescheduled, Cutter & Barr might charge for the additional fitting date.
- All products will remain the property of Cutter & Barr Ltd until fully paid.
- Late payments might incur an interest rate of 8% above the current Bank of England base rate, along with potential recovery costs.
Fitting Details
- Our fitters are usually scheduled several days in advance.
- Rescheduling within 3 work days before your appointment might result in a £150 fee.
- We can’t provide the exact duration of the job beforehand. We’ll notify you if any delays are expected.
- If you’re absent during our arrival, our team will wait for up to 15 minutes.
Additional Information
- We’re not liable for minor damages during fitting, such as small scrapes on walls or floors.
- Uncontrollable events causing delays will be communicated. You can opt to end the contract if significant delays occur.
- We’re not liable for any potential loss you might experience due to our delivery or service process.
- Our service doesn’t include repairing minor décor damages.
Blinds: Chains and Cords
- All chains and cords adhere to mandatory safety standards.
- For certain products, child safety devices might be legally required during fitting. If you disagree with this, we won’t be able to complete your installation or offer a refund.
