Cutter & Barr was asked to supply curtains and window treatments for the showrooms of the jewellery designer David M Robinson in Liverpool and Canary Wharf as well as for a concession within the Peninsular Hotel, Belgravia. The project included supplying a challenging brief of 80mm decorative wave curtains in a voile fabric to hang on a motorised curved track which stands 6.5m off the floor. The installation required a tower and an exacting number of cross diagonal measurements to ensure the hang was correct. We also designed further sets of curtains with tracks hidden behind the reveal: one in a fabric by Zimmer + Rohde and another in a rich matt emerald velvet.
