This boutique hotel in the Petersfield neighbourhood of Manchester stands in a former Victorian shipping warehouse. Now a Grade II-listed building, it has recently undergone a full renovation programme and we provided curtains for all 32 bedrooms as well as the communal areas which include Asha’s, a Michelin-starred restaurant. The lobby area is dressed in striking 4.5m-long curtains in a gold velvet from Sekers while the bedrooms have twin pinch curtains on tracks hidden in the ceiling recess in a warm but neutral beige. These are designed to counterbalance some of the bold and vivid colours used to decorate each room.
